Effective date: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TruePair mobile application, websites, and related dating, matchmaking, matrimonial-introduction, social-introduction, communication, support, and safety services (collectively, the “Service”). TruePair is a product operated by CYBEXO INC., a New York corporation. In these Terms, “TruePair,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CYBEXO INC. as operator of the Service.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account or selecting the in-app control stating that you agree to the Terms, you enter into a binding agreement with TruePair. You also acknowledge the TruePair Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
If you obtain the TruePair app through Apple’s App Store, the app is also licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a valid custom end-user license agreement is provided. If these Terms conflict with mandatory terms that apply to your App Store license, those mandatory terms control to the extent of the conflict.
Do not use the Service if you do not agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. By using TruePair, you represent that:
- you are 18 or older;
- you are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Service;
- information you provide about yourself is accurate and not misleading;
- you will use the Service only for lawful dating, matchmaking, matrimonial-introduction, social-introduction, or related purposes; and
- you have not been removed from TruePair for a serious or repeated safety violation unless we expressly authorized your return.
TruePair is for adults. We may request age, identity, or account-integrity verification where appropriate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account, your activity, and safeguarding your login credentials and verification codes. You must not share access, impersonate another person, create an account for someone without valid authority, or provide false or materially incomplete information.
Tell us promptly through TruePair Support or at support@truepair.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Some profiles may be created or managed with an approved agency, marriage bureau, family, or authorized representative. Those arrangements must follow the Service’s consent, role, and visibility controls. The person represented by a profile retains the rights and protections provided by applicable law and TruePair policy.
4. The Service and no outcome guarantee
TruePair provides tools for profile creation, discovery, matching, communication, safety, and introductions. Suggestions, rankings, compatibility indicators, and other assistance are informational tools. Users decide whom to contact, meet, or pursue a relationship with.
We do not guarantee a match, response, date, relationship, marriage, compatibility, identity, background, conduct, or any particular outcome. We do not conduct every form of background screening, and a verification indicator is not a guarantee that a person is safe or that all profile information is accurate.
Use reasonable judgment, protect financial and personal information, and take appropriate precautions before meeting or transacting with another person. Never send money or financial credentials because another user asks you to do so. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services first.
5. Subscriptions and paid features
TruePair may offer subscriptions or paid features. The price, billing period, renewal terms, and included features shown at purchase are part of these Terms.
For purchases made through Apple’s App Store, Apple processes payment and manages cancellation and eligible refunds under Apple’s rules. An auto-renewable subscription continues until canceled through the applicable App Store account settings, subject to the notice and timing shown at purchase. Deleting the app or your TruePair account does not itself cancel an App Store subscription.
Features and prices may change prospectively where permitted by law. We will provide notice or obtain consent when required.
6. Your content and permissions you give us
“User Content” includes profile information, preferences, photos, captions, messages, voice notes, videos, reports, and other material you submit or make available through the Service.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You give TruePair a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, support, and improve the Service; comply with law; and enforce these Terms. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except for limited copies lawfully retained for safety, security, dispute, legal, or backup purposes under the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your User Content and to grant this license. Do not post another person’s private information, image, or content without proper authority.
7. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use TruePair to create, upload, send, request, promote, or facilitate:
- sexual exploitation or any content involving a minor;
- threats, stalking, harassment, bullying, coercion, blackmail, or non-consensual intimate content;
- hate, dehumanization, or unlawful discrimination;
- scams, fraud, impersonation, spam, deceptive solicitation, or requests for money or credentials;
- illegal goods, services, conduct, or instructions intended to cause harm;
- graphic violence, credible self-harm encouragement, or content that creates an immediate safety risk;
- pornography, sexually explicit solicitation, or other objectionable content prohibited by our published rules;
- malware, automated scraping, unauthorized access, security testing without permission, or interference with the Service;
- content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
- attempts to evade a block, suspension, moderation decision, account limit, or safety control.
Context matters. TruePair may restrict additional content or conduct when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or preserve the intended adult relationship-focused nature of the Service.
8. Content moderation, reporting, and blocking
We use a combination of automated safeguards and trained human review to detect, restrict, and investigate content or conduct that may violate these Terms. New or edited text and media may be held from publication while checks or review are pending. Automated systems can make mistakes; when available, you may retry, request review, or appeal through the in-app flow or the contact methods below.
You can report concerning profiles or chat activity and block another member. “Report and block” sends a safety report to TruePair for review and immediately restricts the reported member’s visibility or interaction for the reporting user. “Block only” privately restricts interaction without creating a safety allegation. A report remains subject to review even if a personal block is later changed.
We review reports and take proportionate action, which may include content removal, visibility restrictions, warnings, feature limits, suspension, or account removal. Our operational target is to act on objectionable-content reports within 24 hours, with shorter targets for critical safety matters. We may preserve limited evidence and account records when necessary to investigate, respond, protect users, or comply with law.
Report safety concerns through the app, the TruePair Safety Center, or safety@truepair.com. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
9. Enforcement and appeals
We may investigate suspected violations and take temporary or permanent action when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or Service integrity. We may act without advance notice where notice could create risk, compromise an investigation, or is not required by law.
Where an appeal or review is available, contact support@truepair.com and include the public reference or account information needed to locate the decision. We may decline repeated, abusive, fraudulent, or already-final requests. We do not disclose another user’s identity, private report, evidence, or internal safety methods merely because enforcement occurred.
10. Privacy
The TruePair Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use and share it, content moderation and human-review processing, retention, deletion, international processing, and your choices. Device permissions such as camera, photos, location, and notifications are requested through operating-system controls and can be managed in device settings. Denying an optional permission may limit the related feature but does not by itself prevent general use of TruePair.
11. Third-party services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, including app stores, payment providers, maps, identity-verification providers, communications providers, and external websites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. TruePair is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. TruePair intellectual property
TruePair and its licensors own the Service, software, designs, trademarks, and content other than User Content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
13. Account closure and deletion
You may stop using TruePair at any time. If you request account deletion, your profile is hidden and deletion is scheduled after the in-app grace period, currently seven days. You may restore the account before the displayed deadline. After that deadline, we delete or de-identify account data and associated User Content according to the Privacy Policy, except narrowly retained information required for safety, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions through the applicable app marketplace.
We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, a serious safety risk, legal requirements, nonpayment, or discontinuation of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including ownership, lawful retention, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms.
14. Service availability and disclaimers
We work to provide a reliable and safe Service, but the Service may be interrupted, changed, or unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruePair provides the Service “as is” and “as available” and disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruePair and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from the Service or interactions between users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of TruePair and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $100 or (b) the total amount you paid to TruePair during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The exclusions and cap in this section do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury to the extent the law makes that liability non-waivable, or mandatory consumer rights and remedies. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the language above may not apply to you.
16. Disputes and governing law
Before filing a formal claim, you and TruePair should try in good faith to resolve the issue through support@truepair.com, unless immediate relief or applicable law makes that inappropriate.
These Terms and their enforcement, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to New York’s conflict-of-law principles. However, mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence continues to apply to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.
Except where applicable law permits or requires a different forum, you and CYBEXO INC. agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state courts located in New York County, New York, or, where federal subject-matter jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive any right to participate in a class or representative action. Either party may bring an eligible individual claim in a small-claims court that has lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or remedies, access to a regulator, or access to a court where a limitation would be unlawful.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect Service, safety, legal, or operational changes. We will identify the effective date and provide notice when required. If an update materially changes your rights or obligations, TruePair may require you to review and explicitly agree to the new version before account creation or continued access. We retain version and acceptance records as described in the Privacy Policy.
